We can offer our guests six, en-suite, bedrooms, all offering comfortable accommodation. You are assured of a warm welcome at the Marine House Hotel. This year, 2009, is the 'Homecoming year' when ex-pat Scots are encouraged to return to their roots. If you are planning to come to Galloway and check out your ancestral roots in this area, then our small hotel could make a good base from which to explore the area. The Marine House Hotel is well situated to explore the beautiful Rhins of Galloway and the surrounding region. Not for nothing is Galloway known as 'Scotland In Miniature'! The Marine House Hotel offers six, en-suite, bedrooms offering comfortable and well furnished accommodation. We are located in Agnew Crescent, Stranraer, close to the shores of Loch Ryan. We are right across the road from the popular Agnew Park - with it's children's play park, mini-railway and even a small - but clean - beach. The Marine House Hotel is close to the (Stena) Ferry Dock at Port Rodie and the (PandO) Dock at Cairnryan. Stranraer Station is within a mile. Ample free long stay parking is available directly across the road from the Marine House Hotel. We offer a full Bed and Breakfast service, . The Marine House Hotel is the ideal base from which to explore the beautiful Rhins of Galloway and surrounding region. Glens, lochs, coastline, forest trails, golfing, pony trekking, mountain biking, sea angling. We are very fortunate to live in the Rhins of Galloway. The shape of the peninsula, with water on three sides, lends to an 'Island Feeling'. Across the road from the Marine House hotel, lays the expanse of sea loch known as Loch Ryan. It is used by anglers, windsurfers and the local Yatch Club alike. To the south lays Luce Bay, another expanse of water which, with no Ferries to cause heavy washes, is perfect for boating
